Abstract
Compounds are provided having the formula ##STR1## which compounds are useful as anthelmintics, and anti-fungal and anti-bacterial agents. In addition, methods for preparing such compounds, intermediates prepared in such methods, useful compositions containing such compounds and methods for employing such compounds and compositions containing the same are also provided.

A method for treating fungal infections and/or bacterial infections, which comprises administering to a mammalian host an effective amount of a compound of the formula ##STR47## wherein R is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, lower alkyl, halogen, trifluoromethyl, lower alkoxy, phenoxy, di(lower alkyl)amino, ##STR48## phenyl, or phenyl substituted with halogen, nitro, trifluoromethyl, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy, R.sup.1 is a heterocyclic group selected from the group consisting of thienyl, furyl, pyrryl, imidazolyl, oxazolyl, and any of the above groups substituted by lower alkyl substituent, a lower alkoxy substituent or a halo substituent.
