Abstract

An anode for electrochemical processes comprises a basis metal and a new electrochemical active substance for the cover layer, which substance is thallium palladate having the formula TlPd.sub.3 O.sub.4.

In an anode for electrochemical processes which anode comprises a basis metal and a cover layer, the improvement wherein said cover layer comprises cardinal-red cubic face centered thallium palladate having the formula TlPd.sub.3 O.sub.4.
