Substituted hydroxy pyridones

Abstract

This disclosure describes novel compounds of the formula: ##STR1## where R is ##STR2## and R.sub.1 is straight chain lower alkyl, or ##STR3## where R.sub.3 is hydrogen or halo having an atomic weight of about 19 to 36, Which are useful as minor tranquilizers, sleep inducers and muscle relaxants.
