Abstract
Phenoxy compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R and R', which are the same or different, are hydrogen, halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower alkylthio, nitro, trifluoromethyl, trifluoromethylthio, trifluoromethoxy, lower alkoxy-carbonyl or dimethylsulfamoyl. These compounds are used as medicines especially in the treatment of glucid -- and lipid -- metabolism disorders.

A compound of the formula ##STR7## wherein R and R', which are the same or different, are each selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy and alkylthio each having from 1 to 5 carbon atoms inclusive, nitro, trifluoromethyl, trifluoromethylthio, trifluoromethoxy, alkoxycarbonyl wherein alkoxy has from 1 to 5 carbon atoms inclusive and dimethylsulfamoyl;
- or physiologically tolerable acid addition salts thereof.
