Abstract
Concentrated storage-stable quaternary styryl dye solutions useful to dye paper, the solutions comprising, by weight, I. 20% to 40% of the dye ##STR1## wherein A is an anion, II. 30% TO 50% OF AT LEAST ONE OF ACETIC ACID AND PROPIONIC ACID, Iii. 10% to 40% of at least one acrylic acid and methacrylic acid, and Iv. 3.3% to 4.5% of water.

A storage-stable quaternary styryl dye solution comprising, by weight,
- i. 20% to 40% of the dye ##STR5## wherein A is an anion, ii. 30% to 50% of at least one of acetic acid and propionic acid,
- iii. 10% to 40% of at least one of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid, and
- iv. 3.3% to 4.5% of water.
