Abstract
Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein X is O or NR.sup.3 in which R.sup.3 is hydrogen or alkyl; X.sup.1 is oxygen or sulfur; Y is hydrogen, halogen, cyano, alkyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, alkylthio or haloalkyl; Z is hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy or haloalkyl; and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each independently may be hydrogen, alkyl, aryl or aralkyl and R is hydrogen or methyl are useful as herbicides.
Claims12
A compound of the formula ##STR3## wherein X.sup.1 is oxygen or sulfur;
- Y is hydrogen, halogen selected from fluorine, chlorine or bromine, cyano, alkyl, alkoxy or alkylthio of 1 to 6 carbon atoms each optionally substituted by one or more halogen atoms, Z is hydrogen, halogen selected from fluorine, chlorine or bromine, alkyl or alkoxy of 1 to 6 carbon atoms optionally substituted by one or more halogen atoms;
- R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each independently is hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms or aryl or aralkyl of up to 8 carbon atoms;
- R.sup.3 is hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms;
- and R is hydrogen or methyl.
