Abstract
6-Amino and 6-benzalimino-6-arylthio penicillins are disclosed. These compounds are useful as intermediates in the preparation of 6-acylamino-6-arylthio penicillins.
Claims1
A compound of the formula ##STR7## wherein R.sup.3 is phenylthio or nitrophenylthio;
- and R.sup.4 is hydrogen, lower alkyl, trimethylsilyl, benzyl, benzhydryl, methoxybenzyl or trichloroethyl, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
