Rapid action relay

In a relay having a swivel armature, for pivoting about an axis and having two arms extending from the axis, the relay having additionally an enveloping energizing coil on a carrier and a yoke structure providing for abutment with the two arms of the armature, the armature having a shaft;

• the improvement comprising:
• a pair of disks for journalling the shaft inside of the carrier, the disks journalling the axis of the shaft eccentrically to the circular peripheries of the disks, and
• the yoke structure establishing two positions of abutment for the armature, whereby the two arms respectively abut the yoke structure in two diagonally opposed dispositions in each of the two positions.
