Microorganisms are controlled using combinations of halogenated o-phenoxyphenols and phenoxy or phenalkyl alcohols.
Claims12
A composition for the control of bacteria comprising antibacterially effective amounts of 5-chloro-2-(2,4-dichlorophenoxy)-phenol and of a compound selected from the group consisting of 2-phenoxyethanol and 2-(p-chlorophenoxy)-ethanol in a proportion within the range of 3 to 1 and 1 to 5.
