Abstract
The compounds are sulphoxides of heterocyclicthioalkylthioureas, ureas and guanidines which are useful to produce inhibition of histamine H-2 receptors.
Claims10
A compound of the formula:
- ##STR10## wherein A is such that the heterocyclic nucleus formed is a thiazole or oxazole ring;
- X.sub.1 and X.sub.2, which may be the same or different are hydrogen, lower alkyl, trifluoromethyl, halogen or amino k is 0 to 2 and m is 2 or 3 provided that the sum of k and m is 3 or 4;
- E is oxygen, sulphur or NH.sub.2 ;
- R.sub.1 is hydrogen, lower alkyl, benzoyl or dimethylaminoethyl;
- and R.sub.2 is hydrogen, nitro, cyano, alkanesulphonyl having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, benzenesulphonyl, halobenzenesulphonyl or toluenesulphonyl.
