Abstract
The instant invention relates to dihydroxy sulphonates containing ether groups, and to a process for their production. They are obtained by the addition of bisulphites to (poly)alkoxylated dihydroxy alkenes.
Claims2
Dihydroxy sulphonates containing ether groups and corresponding to the following general formula:
- ##STR12## wherein A represents a straight- or branched-chain alkylene radical having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms;
- R represents hydrogen, a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl radical or phenyl;
- Me represents NH.sub.4 or an alkali metal;
- m is 0 or 1;
- and
- n is a number of from 1 to 30.
