Abstract
A stabilized piezoelectric resin element is produced by applying high pressure to a poled piezoelectric resin element for a given time and short circuiting the surface of said element under pressure.
Claims16
A method of stabilizing a poled piezoelectric resin element comprising applying pressure in excess of 20 p.s.i. to said element while its surfaces are electrically short circuited, said pressure being applied in an amount and for a time sufficient to provide a stabilized piezoelectric element.
