Method of controlling pea aphids

A method of effectively controlling insects of the genus Acrythosiphum, which comprises bringing the insects into contact with an effective amount to effectively control said insect of a composition represented by the general formula:

• Ar is an aryl selected from the group consisting of:
• 4-chlorophenyl, 4-nitrophenyl, 2-chlorophenyl, 4-bromophenyl, 4-fluorophenyl, 3,4-dichlorophenyl, 3,4-dibromophenyl, 3,4-xylyl, 3-alkylphenyl in which the alkyl has from one to four carbon atoms, 4-alkylphenyl in which the alkyl has from one to four carbon atoms, 3-alkoxyphenyl in which the alkoxy has from one to four carbon atoms, 4-alkoxyphenyl in which the alkoxy has from one to four carbon atoms, 3-alkylthiophenyl in which the alkylthio has from one to four carbon atoms, and 4-alkylthiophenyl in which the alkylthio has from one to four carbon atoms;
• and
• R is a cycloalkyl selected from the group consisting of cyclopropyl, 2-methylcyclopropyl, cyclobutyl, cyclopentyl, 2-methylcyclopentyl and cyclohexyl.
