Abstract
Substituted pyrido[3,4-e]oxazine diones, e.g., 6-methyl-4,7-diphenyl-2H-pyrido[3,4-e]-1,3-oxazine-2,5-dione are useful as minor tranquilizers, sleep inducers and muscle relaxants.

A compound of the formula ##STR9## where R.sub.1 represents straight chain lower alkyl or ##STR10## where R.sub.3 represents hydrogen or halo having an atomic weight of about 19 to 36, and
- R.sub.2 represents hydrogen or halo.
