Abstract
Disperse monoazo dyes, useful for the dyeing and printing of polyester, polyamide and cellulose acetate fibers in navy-blue shades, having the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is Br, Cl or CN; R.sub.2 is CN or NO.sub.2 ; is C.sub.2-4 --alkylene; and R.sub.4 is a selected aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, or aromatic radical.

The dye having the formula ##STR19## wherein R.sub.1 is Br, Cl or CN;
- R.sub.2 is CN or NO.sub.2 ;
- R.sub.3 is C.sub.2-4 alkylene;
- R.sub.4 is C.sub.2-6 alkylene-R.sub.5 ;
- R.sub.5 is --OCOC.sub.1-4 alkyl or --OCOR.sub.6 ;
- and
- R.sub.6 is phenyl or phenyl substituted with 1-2 groups selected from Cl, Br, NO.sub.2, C.sub.1-4 alkyl, O-C.sub.1-4 alkyl and CF.sub.3.
