Pyrazolo[4,3-e][1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-c]pyrimidine

A compound of the formula ##STR30## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each is hydrogen or lower alkyl;

• R.sub.3 is hydrogen, alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, ##STR31## lower alkyl or mono-substituted lower alkyl wherein the lower alkyl substituent is hydroxy, cyano, phenyl, ##STR32## R.sub.4 is lower alkyl or phenyl;
• R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 each is hydrogen or lower alkyl;
• and R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 each is hydrogen or lower alkyl.
