Abstract
(E)-2-[p-(.beta.-Substituted-vinyl)phenyl]alkanoic acids represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and X are as hereinafter defined, having anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic and platelet aggregation inhibitory activities.
Claims10
An (E)-2-[p-(.beta.-substituted-vinyl)phenyl]alkanoic acid represented by the formula (I):
- ##STR32## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or an ethyl group;
- and X represents a ##STR33## group or a ##STR34## group, wherein R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, a nitro group, an amino group, a hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
