Abstract
A new derivative of 7H-indolizino (7,6,5-de)-isoquinoline of the formula ##STR1## is useful as a bactericide against fire blight.

A compound, of the formula:

An agricultural bactericide, comprising a bactericidally-effective amount of 10-nitro-7-oxo-7H-indolizino (7,6,5-de) isoquinoline, an inert agricultural carrier, and a compatible surface-active agent suitable for agricultural use.
