Abstract
A stabilized olefin polymer composition having resistance against deterioration caused by contact with such heavy metals as copper which comprises 100 parts by weight of an olefin polymer and from 0.001 to 5 parts by weight of an N-cinnamoyl-N'-acyl-hydrazine derivative is disclosed.

An olefin polymer composition which comprises 100 parts by weight of an olefin polymer and from 0.001 to 5 parts by weight of a compound having the formula ##STR17## in which R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydroxyl group, an alkyl group having 1 - 3 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group having 1 - 3 carbon atoms, and R.sup.2 represents a group of the formula ##STR18## in which R.sup.3 represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, an alkyl group having 1 - 3 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 - 3 carbon atoms, a group of the formula ##STR19## a group of the formula ##STR20## in which R.sup.4 represents an alkyl group having 1 - 3 carbon atoms, or a group of the formula ##STR21##
