Abstract
New thioureas corresponding to the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents halogen or the methyl group, R.sub.2 represents C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, R.sub.3 represents methyl or allyl and R.sub.4 represents C.sub.2 -C.sub.5 alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.5 alkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.5 alkynyl or hydroxy- or cyano-substituted alkyl, benzyl, cycloalkyl-alkyl, or tetrahydrofurylalkyl, Which are useful for the control of arachnida, particularly ticks.
Claims11
A method for combatting mites and ticks which comprises applying thereto a pesticidally effective amount of a compound of the formula ##STR6## wherein R.sub.1 represents halogen or methyl, R.sub.2 represents C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, and R.sub.4 represents C.sub.2 -C.sub.5 alkyl.
