Abstract
Process for the preparation of aromatic amines which additionally still contain C-C multiple bonds, characterized in that aromatic nitro compounds which still contain C-C multiple bonds are hydrogenated in the presence of cobalt sulphides as catalysts, at 20.degree. to 140.degree. C and at 5 to 150 bars hydrogen pressure.

Process for the slective catalytic reduction of the nitro group of aromatic nitro compounds containing at least one non-aromatic C--C double or triple bond comprising hydrogenating said aromatic nitro compounds at 20.degree. C to 140.degree. C and at 5 to 150 bars of hydrogen pressure in the presence of a cobalt sulfide catalyst to produce the corresponding aromatic amino compounds which additionally still contain C--C multiple bonds by reduction of said nitro groups.
