Abstract
A process for the distortion-free dope coloration of polyolefins with organic pigments, wherein the organic pigment is coated with a melamine-formaldehyde resin which is then cured.

In the process for preparing shaped, distortion-free dope colored high density polyethylene or polypropylene with organic pigments, the improvement comprising using an organic pigment which is coated with a cured melamine-formaldehyde resin.
