Abstract
A non-aqueous lead oxide cell having a negative electrode, such as lithium, a non-aqueous electrolyte and a positive lead oxide electrode, said lead oxide electrode comprising lead dioxide particles each having an outer layer of lead monoxide.
Claims10
A lead oxide cell comprising a highly active metal negative electrode, a positive electrode and a non-aqueous electrolyte comprising a salt dissolved in an organic solvent;
- said positive electrode comprising lead dioxide particles having a substantially complete outer layer of lead monoxide, and said cell having a substantially unipotential discharge voltage.
