Abstract
Benzimidazole derivatives are providing having the structure ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is lower alkyl, phenyl-lower alkyl, halo-lower alkyl, mono-lower alkylaminoalkyl, di-lower alkylaminoalkyl, and alkyl pyridinium halide, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 may be the same or different and are hydrogen or lower alkyl, R.sup.4 is cycloalkyl or cycloalkenyl, and m is 0 to 3, n is 0 to 3, m + n being .ltoreq.5. These compounds are useful as anthelmintic agents.
Claims10
A compound of the structure ##STR53## wherein R.sup.1 is lower alkyl, phenyl-lower alkyl, halo-lower alkyl, mono lower alkylaminoalkyl, and alkyl pyridinium halide, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are the same or different and are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen or lower alkyl, and R.sup.4 is cycloalkyl containing 3 to 12 carbons or cycloalkenyl containing 3 to 10 carbons, m is 0 to 3, n is 0 to 3 and m + n is .ltoreq. 5, and physiologically acceptable salts thereof where R.sup.1 includes an amino function.
