Abstract
Novel odorants of the formulae: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and R.sup.2 represents a C.sub.1-6 alkyl group and wherein one of the two additional bonds indicated by dots may be present.
Claims6
An odorant composition which contains as an odor - imparting ingredient an effective amount of an alcohol of the general formula ##STR7## wherein R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and R.sup.2 represents a C.sub.1-6 alkyl group and wherein one of the two additional bonds indicated by dots may be present and at least one other olfactorily desirable agent.
