Abstract
Novel morpholine compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.5 alkenyl, aryl(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkyl or (C.sub.3 -C.sub.6)cycloalkyl(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkyl and n represents 1 or 2, and their non-toxic salts, which are useful as antidepressants and can be produced by various methods.
Claims7
A compound of formula:
- ##STR39## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.5 alkenyl, phenyl(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkyl or (C.sub.3 -C.sub.6)cycloalkyl(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkyl and n is 1 or 2, or a non-toxic salt thereof.
9-(2-Morpholinylmethyl)-9,10-dihydro-9,10-methanoanthracene, or a non-toxic salt thereof.
9-(4-Benzyl-2-morpholinylmethyl)-9,10-dihydro-9,10-methanoanthracene, or a non-toxic salt thereof.
