Abstract
This invention relates to hydroxyalkyl esters of carboxy-terminated polybutadienes and to cetain high-energy derivatives thereof which are useful as binders in solid propellants, sheet explosives, etc.

Polybutadiene terminated with --C(O)OR groups, R being hydroxyalkyl.
An ester of a polyhydric alkanol of up to 10 carbons and carboxy-terminated polybutadiene having a molecular weight of about from 1000 to 5000 and greater than about 70% by weight 1,4-configuration.
