Abstract
A new class of compounds comprising [(N-disubstituted phosphoro)-(N-alkyl)aminosulfenyl]-substituted carbamic acid esters of 2,3-dihydro-7-benzofuranol exhibit outstanding insecticidal activity. The preparation of these compounds, their physical properties, formulation and use to control both household insects and crop pests are exemplified.
Claims14
A compound of the formula ##STR4## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each hydrogen or lower alkyl (C.sub.1 to C.sub.6) and can be the same or different;
- R.sup.3 is lower alkyl (C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 [ alkyl]);
- R.sup.4 is hydrogen, lower alkyl (C.sub.1 to C.sub.6), [cycloalkyl (C.sub.3 -C.sub.8), aralkyl or aryl] phenyl-lower alkyl (C.sub.1 to C.sub.6) or phenyl;
- and ##STR5## where X is O or S, A is OR.sup.5, [SR.sup.5, NHR.sup.5 or NR.sup.5 R.sup.6 ], and R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are each lower alkyl (C.sub.1 to C.sub.6) [, cycloalkyl] or [aryl] phenyl and can be the same or different;
- and
- Y is hydrogen, halo or methyl.
