The present invention is concerned with new cyclic amino acids and with the preparation thereof.

Compounds of the general formula:
- ##STR6## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl radical and n is 4, 5 or 6;
- and the pharmacologically compatible salts thereof.
