Abstract
Dihydro-nitrogen heterocyclic phosphoramidates of the general formula ##STR1## where N -- C represents a dihydro-nitrogen ring, R is a substituted group, preferably hydrocarbon, X is O or S, and R.sub.1 is an alcohol or phenolic moiety, preferably hydrocarbon; the preparation and uses thereof particularly as corrosion inhibitors, microbiocides, etc.
Claims12
A process of inhibiting corrosion of metals in contact with a corrosive fluid which comprises contacting the metal surfaces with a dihydro-nitrogen heterocyclic phosphoramidate of the formula ##STR20## where N -- C represents a 1,2-dihydropyridine group, R is lower alkyl or phenyl and R.sub.1 is lower alkyl, cyclohexyl, or phenyl and X is O or S.
