Water-insoluble polyazo dyestuff comprising two or three identical azo dyestuffs joined to a central nucleus by carboxyl bridges

Polyazo dyestuff of the formula ##SPC17##

• wherein X.sub.1 is ##EQU3## phenylene, naphthylene, diphenylene, chloronaphthalene, chlorophenylene, chlorodiphenylene, methylphenylene, methylnaphthalene, methyldiphenylene, or ##SPC18##
• R.sub.3 and R.sub.4, independently of each other, are hydrogen, alkyl of 1-4 carbon atoms, alkoxy of 1-4 carbon atoms, chloro, bromo, alkylcarbonylamino of 2-5 carbon atoms, alkoxycarbonyl of 2-5 carbon atoms, phenoxy, nitro, cyano, trifluoromethyl, carbamyl, phenylcarbonylamino, phenyloxamido, phenylcarbamyl, or any of said last three radicals which is further substituted by chloro, bromo, alkyl of 1-2 carbon atoms or alkoxy of 1-2 carbon atoms,
• R.sub.5 is hydrogen, chloro, bromo, alkyl of 1-2 carbon atoms or alkoxy of 1-2 carbon atoms,
