Abstract
A process for the preparation of blocked polyisocyanate powders consisting of reacting the polyisocyanate and blocking agent in solution in the presence of a surfactant, whereby the product precipitates in extremely finely divided form.
Claims11
A process for the preparation of finely divided blocked isocyanates consisting of reacting a polyisocyanate and an active hydrogen-containing compound, or mixture of compounds, selected from the group consisting of a primary alcohol, a secondary alcohol, a secondary amine, and a phenolic compound in solution in the presence of a surfactant, whereupon the product precipitates in exceptionally finely divided form.
The process for the preparation of finely divided blocked polyisocyanates consisting of reacting an aromatic polyisocyanate and an active hydrogen-containing compound, or mixture of compounds, selected from a group consisting of a primary alcohol, a secondary alcohol, a secondary amine, and a phenolic compound in solution in an inert solvent containing a surfactant, whereupon the product precipitates in exceptionally finely divided form.
