Deep-dyed nylon fiber and dyed styling yarn

Styling yarn containing deep-dyed nylon fiber which has been dyed from an aqueous dye bath having a pH of 4-7 and which contains dyes selected from 2-3 of the following groups, wherein M in each group is a cation selected from H, Li, Na, K, NH.sub.4, di(hydroxy-C.sub.2.sub.-3 alkyl)-ammonium and tri(hydroxy-C.sub.2.sub.-3 alkyl)ammonium:

• 1. Yellow dye of the structure ##EQU3## wherein a. Ar is ##SPC9##
• R.sub.1 is Cl and R.sub.2 is SO.sub.3 M,
• b. Ar is ##SPC10##
• R.sub.1 is Cl and R.sub.2 is SO.sub.3 M, or
• c. Ar is ##SPC11##
• R.sub.1 is SO.sub.3 M and R.sub.2 is H;
• 2. orange dye of the structure ##SPC12##
• wherein R.sub.3 is H, CH.sub.3 or C.sub.2 H.sub.5 ;
• 3. orange dye of the structure ##SPC13##
• wherein R.sub.4 is C.sub.1.sub.-8 alkyl
• 4. Red dye of the structure ##SPC14##
• wherein one of R.sub.5 and R'.sub.5 is H and the other is C.sub.6 H.sub.5 CONH;
• 5. blue dye of the structure ##SPC15##
• wherein R.sub.6 is SO.sub.3 M and R.sub.7 is H, CH.sub.3, OCH.sub.3 or Cl, or R.sub.6 is p-NHCOCO.sub.2 H and R.sub.7 is H;
• and
• 6. Blue-green to green dye of the structure ##SPC16##
• wherein X is H or OH, R.sub.8 is H and R.sub.9 is C.sub.2 H.sub.5, C.sub.3 H.sub.7, OCH.sub.3 or OC.sub.2 H.sub.5, or R.sub.8 is CH.sub.3 and R.sub.9 is CH.sub.3 or OCH.sub.3.
