Abstract
A detergent composition containing a non-coloring antioxidant to reduce yellowing of clothes. A detergent composition containing 0.001 to 5 percent by weight of a non-coloring antioxidant and 1 to 35 percent by weight of a metal-deactivating agent to reduce yellowing of clothes.
Claims7
A clothes washing detergent composition having incorporated therein from 0.001 to 5 percent by weight of a compound of the formula ##SPC2##
- wherein n is 0 or 1, R.sub.1 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon having 8 to 14 carbon atoms or tert.-butyl, and R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are H, alkyl or hydroxyalkyl having 1 to 2 carbon atoms, with the proviso that at least one of R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 is said alkyl or hydroxyalkyl.
