Bleaching article

An article of manufacture especially adapted for bleaching fabrics in an automatic clothes dryer, consisting essentially of:

• a. a water-insoluble, closed, flexible pouch, at least one wall of said pouch consisting of an open pore polyurethane foam having a density of from about 0.75 lb./cu. ft. to about 1.50 lb./cu. ft.;
• and
• b. an effective amount of a solid, particulate, water-soluble fabric bleaching composition consisting essentially of a peroxygen bleach, said bleaching composition being releasably enclosed within the pouch.
