Abstract
The reliability of radiation switches is improved in accordance with this invention by mechanically modifying the contact members of the switch structure to reduce the heat sinking effectiveness of the switch contact members.
Claims6
A radiation switch comprising:
- a substrate;
- a pair of conductors on said substrate having a gap therebetween;
- a quantity of conductor precursor material overlying and in contact with a portion of each of said conductors;
- and
- means for decreasing the thermal conductivity of said conductors where said conductors are in contact with said conductor precursor material.
