Abstract
Compounds having the structure: ##SPC1## Wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, alike or different, are alkyls of 2 to 7 carbon atoms in which there are no more than 3 carbon atoms in a line from the aromatic ring; R.sup.3 is an alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms; n is 0, 1 or 2; and X is F, Cl, Br, I, or CN; with the provisos that 1. R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are not ortho to each other, 2. at least one of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 contains at least 3 carbon atoms, and 3. X is not ortho to the ##EQU1## have been found to be selective herbicides.
