Abstract
A process for producing flat sheets, particularly photographic sheets for use in automatic film changing equipment, from a stored roll of material. A thermoplastic film is briefly heated to above its second order transition temperature but not over 120.degree. centigrade prior to cutting for packaging. Such heating removes roll curl developed during storage of the film in rolls, without adversely affecting the quality of the film.
Claims8
A process for removing curl from a biaxially oriented polyester film coated with at least one photosensitive layer comprising briefly raising the temperature of the film to a temperature which is above its second order transition temperature but not in excess of 120.degree.C.
