Abstract
A deflection circuit has a sawtooth generator with a control input and an output stage, each having a different power supply. A control voltage derived from the output stage supply is applied to the control input to decrease the flyback period as the output stage supply voltage increases.
Claims8
A field deflection circuit arrangement in which the flyback pulse produced across the deflection coil is clamped to a fixed potential, said deflection circuit comprising a sawtooth wave generator means adapted to be connected to a first source of direct voltage for producing a waveform having a scan period and a flyback period, said flyback period increasing as the amplitude of the sawtooth wave increases, said generator means having a control input means for varying said flyback period, an output stage adapted to be connected to a second source of direct voltage, and means for feeding said second source of direct voltage to said control input means of said sawtooth wave generator for causing the flyback period to decrease as the voltage of said second source of direct voltage increases.
