Abstract
2-Phenylamino-imidazolines-(2) of the formula ##SPC1## Wherein R, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are individually selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methyl, ethyl, methoxy, trifluoromethyl and cyano and one of R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 being hydrogen while the other is ##EQU1## and R.sub.5 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, methyl and ethyl and their non-toxic, pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts which have analgesic and blood pressure reducing properties and their preparation.

A compound of the formula ##SPC11##
- wherein
- R, r.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methyl, ethyl, methoxy, trifluoromethyl or cyano, and
- R.sub.5 is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl, or a non-toxic, pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
