Optionally substituted 1,2,3,5-tetrahydroimidezo(2,1-b)-quinazolin-2-ones and 6(H)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyimido(2,1-b)quinazolin-2-ones

The compound having the formula ##SPC29##

• in which R.sup.1 is H, phenyl or (lower)alkyl, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 when different are hydrogen, chloro, bromo, fluoro, CF.sub.3, SO.sub.3 H, hydroxy, (lower)alkyl or (lower) alkoxy, nitro, amino or phenyl, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 when alike are hydrogen, bromo, chloro, fluoro, hydroxy, (lower)alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms or (lower)alkoxy of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, or when taken together R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are methylenedioxy or the moiety -CH=CH-CH=CH-, and n is an integer of 1 or 2;
• or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
