Abstract
A light emitting element may include a first electrode, a second electrode on the first electrode, and an emission layer between the first electrode and the second electrode. The emission layer includes a first compound represented by Formula 1.
Claims20
A light emitting element, comprising:
- a first electrode;
- a second electrode on the first electrode;
- and
- an emission layer between the first electrode and the second electrode and comprising a first compound represented by Formula 1:
- wherein, in Formula 1,
- X1 to X4 are each independently O, S, Se, or NRA,
- at least one selected from among X1 to X4 is S or NRA,
- RA is a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group of 6 to 30 ring-forming carbon atoms,
- R1 to R16 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a substituted or unsubstituted amine group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group of 1 to 20 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group of 6 to 30 ring-forming carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group of 2 to 30 ring-forming carbon atoms,
- when X1 to X4 are all S, a case where R1 to R16 are all hydrogen atoms is excluded, and
- when X1 and X4 are each O, and X2 and X3 are each NRA, a case where RA is a phenyl group, and R1 to R16 are all hydrogen atoms is excluded.
