Display device, electronic device using the display device, and method for fabricating the display device

A method for fabricating a display device, the method comprising:

• forming a temporary insulating layer of a forward tapered shape on a bank structure;
• forming an element insulating layer comprising a flat portion and an inclined portion;
• forming a tip of the bank structure;
• and
• forming a light emitting element and an element inorganic layer on the bank structure.

An electronic device comprising:

• at least one display device comprising a substrate comprising a light emission area and a non-light emission area;
• and
• at least one of a display module, a processor, a memory, or a power module, which is connected to the at least one display device,
• wherein the at least one display device comprises:
• a bank structure positioned on the light emission area of the substrate and having an overhang structure;
• an anode electrode positioned on the bank structure;
• and
• an element insulating layer positioned between the bank structure and the anode electrode,
• wherein:
• the element insulating layer comprises a flat portion overlapping the light emission area and an inclined portion overlapping with the non-light emission area and connected to respective sides of the flat portion,
• the flat portion is in contact with the bank structure,
• the inclined portion is spaced apart from the bank structure, and
• an inclined angle formed by the bank structure and the inclined portion of the element insulating layer is an acute angle.
