Provided is a photoelectric conversion device using a material for a photoelectric conversion device that can achieve higher sensitivity and higher resolution. A photoelectric conversion device having one or two or more organic layers between electrodes, in which at least one of the organic layers uses a material for a photoelectric conversion device represented by the following general formula (1). X1 represents O, S, or N—R1, R1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 30 carbon atoms, or a heteroaromatic group having 3 to 17 carbon atoms, and Ar1 to Ar3 represent deuterium, an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 30 carbon atoms, a heteroaromatic group having 3 to 17 carbon atoms, a group having a tricyclic condensed-ring structure of any of the following formulae (2a) to (2e), or the like.
A photoelectric conversion device comprising one or two or more organic layers between two electrodes, wherein at least one of the organic layers contains a material for a photoelectric conversion device represented by the following general formula (1):
