Display apparatus and electronic device including the same

A display apparatus in which a display area and a non-display area at least partially surrounding the display area are defined, the display apparatus comprising:

• a first row comprising a first first island portion of the display area, a first connecting portion, and a first second island portion of the non-display area, which are arranged in a first direction;
• and
• a second row disposed on a side of the first row in a second direction intersecting the first direction, the second row comprising a second first island portion of the display area, a second connecting portion, and a second second island portion of the non-display area, which are arranged in the first direction,
• wherein, the first connecting portion and the second second island portion overlap each other in the second direction,
• wherein an area of the second second island portion is less than an area of the first second island portion.

An electronic device comprising a display unit, the electronic device comprising:

• a display apparatus corresponding to the display unit, wherein a display area and a non-display area at least partially surrounding the display area are defined in the display apparatus;
• and
• strokes disposed under the display apparatus and moving in a vertical direction,
• wherein the display apparatus comprises:
• a first row comprising a first first island portion of the display area, a first connecting portion, and a first second island portion of the non-display area, which are arranged in a first direction;
• and
• a second row disposed on a side of the first row in a second direction intersecting the first direction, the second row comprising a second first island portion of the display area, a second connecting portion, and a second second island portion of the non-display area, which are arranged in the first direction,
• wherein, the first connecting portion and the second second island portion overlap each other in the second direction,
• wherein the first connecting portion has a shape inverted from a shape of the second connecting portion with respect to an axis of symmetry in the first direction.
