Abstract
According to an example aspect of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus configured to determine, in a contention-based random access process, that the apparatus does not detect a message in response to a page provided from the apparatus to a correspondent node, determine, in the contention-based random access process, that a second correspondent node provides to the apparatus a same node identity as the correspondent node, and transmit a second page in the contention-based random access process, the second page comprising the node identity.

An apparatus comprising at least one processing core and at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processing core, cause the apparatus at least to:
- determine, in a contention-based random access process, that the apparatus does not detect a message in response to a page provided from the apparatus to a correspondent node;
- determine, in the contention-based random access process, that a second correspondent node provides to the apparatus a same node identity as the correspondent node, and transmit a second page in the contention-based random access process, the second page comprising the node identity.
An apparatus comprising at least one processing core and at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processing core, cause the apparatus at least to:
- transmit, in a contention-based random access process, a message to a reader as a response to a page, the page comprising a node identity of the apparatus has provided to the reader in the contention-based random access process;
- receive a second page in the contention-based random access process, the second page comprising the node identity of the apparatus, wherein
- the second page comprises at least one of:
- the node identity more than once, or indications of radio resources to be used by the apparatus and another apparatus in responding to the second page.
A method comprising:
- determining, by an apparatus, in a contention-based random access process, that the apparatus does not detect a message in response to a page provided from the apparatus to a correspondent node;
- determining, in the contention-based random access process, that a second correspondent node provides to the apparatus a same node identity as the correspondent node, and
- transmitting a second page in the contention-based random access process, the second page comprising the node identity.
