Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network entity may transmit, during a random access procedure, a first indication of a first synchronization signal block (SSB) index, wherein the first SSB index indicates first spatial direction information for downlink. The network entity may transmit, during the random access procedure, a second indication of a second SSB index, wherein the second SSB index indicates second spatial direction information for uplink. Numerous other aspects are described.
Claims25
A network entity, comprising:
- a processing system configured to:
- transmit, during a random access procedure, a first indication of a first synchronization signal block (SSB) index, wherein the first SSB index indicates first spatial direction information for downlink;
- and
- transmit, during the random access procedure, a second indication of a second SSB index, wherein the second SSB index indicates second spatial direction information for uplink.
A network entity, comprising:
- a processing system configured to:
- receive, during a random access procedure, a first indication of a first synchronization signal block (SSB) index, wherein the first SSB index indicates first spatial direction information for downlink;
- and
- receive, during the random access procedure, a second indication of a second SSB index, wherein the second SSB index indicates second spatial direction information for uplink.
