Abstract

Apparatus and methods for windowed recommendation for coordinated channel recommendation (Co-CR) are provided. In one embodiment, a method for operating a requesting access point (AP) is provided. The method further includes generating a multi-AP coordination (MAPC) element, the MAPC element including a MAPC scheme info field including a coordinated channel recommendation (Co-CR) parameter set field including a Co-CR control field, a recommendation periods info field, and a recommendation timeout field. The method further includes transmitting the MAPC element to a coordinated AP, and determining parameters of a Co-CR agreement based on the Co-CR parameter set field.
