Abstract
A method of coordinated operation performed by an access point (AP) device in a wireless local area network (WLAN) includes transmitting, to at least one other AP device, coordination information or a negotiation request frame for multi-AP coordination (MAPC), and performing, based on a response from the at least one other AP device, a coordinated operation, wherein the coordinated operation includes at least one of coordinated beamforming (Co-BF), coordinated spatial reuse (Co-SR), coordinated time-division multiple access (Co-TDMA), or coordinated ranging and positioning.

A method of coordinated operation performed by an access point (AP) device in a wireless local area network (WLAN), comprising:
- transmitting, to at least one other AP device, coordination information or a negotiation request frame for multi-AP coordination (MAPC);
- and
- performing, based on a response from the at least one other AP device, a coordinated operation, wherein the coordinated operation comprises at least one of:
- a coordinated beamforming (Co-BF),
- a coordinated spatial reuse (Co-SR),
- a coordinated time-division multiple access (Co-TDMA), or
- a coordinated ranging and positioning.
A method of coordinated operation performed by an access point (AP) device, comprising:
- receiving, from another AP device, coordination information or a negotiation request frame for multi-AP coordination (MAPC);
- and
- transmitting, to the another AP device, a response indicating acceptance, rejection, or configuration information for a coordinated operation including at least one of:
- a coordinated beamforming (Co-BF), a coordinated spatial reuse (Co-SR), a coordinated time-division multiple access (Co-TDMA), or a coordinated ranging and positioning.
An AP device, comprising:
- a memory;
- a transceiver;
- and
- a processor coupled to the memory and the transceiver;
- wherein the transceiver is configured to transmit coordination information or a negotiation request frame for multi-AP coordination (MAPC);
- and
- wherein the processor is configured to perform, based on a response from at least one other AP device, a coordinated operation comprising at least one of:
- a coordinated beamforming (Co-BF), a coordinated spatial reuse (Co-SR), a coordinated time-division multiple access (Co-TDMA), or a coordinated ranging and positioning.
