Abstract
In some aspects, a reader device may sense a channel. The reader device may measure interference on one or more subchannels of the channel. The reader device may select a subchannel, of the one or more subchannels, that satisfies an interference threshold. The reader device may transmit a clock synchronization signal or a preamble on the selected subchannel. Numerous other aspects are described.
Claims18
A reader device, comprising:
- a processing system that includes one or more processors and one or more code-storing memories coupled with the one or more processors, the processing system configured to cause the reader device to:
- sense a channel;
- measure interference on one or more subchannels of the channel;
- select a subchannel, of the one or more subchannels, that satisfies an interference threshold;
- and
- transmit a clock synchronization signal or a preamble on the selected subchannel.

A wireless device, comprising:
- a processing system that includes one or more processors and one or more code-storing memories coupled with the one or more processors, the processing system configured to cause the wireless device to:
- select a subchannel, of a channel associated with a reader device, that corresponds to a quantity of clock cycles;
- and
- receive a clock synchronization signal or a preamble on the selected subchannel.
1 more element
A method of wireless communication performed by a reader device, comprising:
- sensing a channel;
- measuring interference on one or more subchannels of the channel;
- selecting a subchannel, of the one or more subchannels, that satisfies an interference threshold;
- and
- transmitting a clock synchronization signal or a preamble on the selected subchannel.
